The McCamus family has been making syrup in the township of Cavan Monaghan for over over 130 years. The McCamus's continue to work a sugar bush producing maple syrup derived from unadulterated maple sap, using a traditional wood fired evaporator, which exposes the syrup to long periods of high heat, building a full flavoured product rich in "maple taste".
